School Based Mental Health Screening

Many children with mental heatlh issues go un-identifed until their problems have escalated and become more entrenched.  Early identification is essential in order to link students with effective intervention and/or treatment.  Research shows that early intervention can alter the course of many mental health issues.

Increasingly, schools are implementing social, emotional, behavioral, and mental health screenings in an effort to identify students early and to develop effective intervention strategies.
